Since 2007, we’ve assembled a team of highly trained professionals specializing in irrigation systems, drainage solutions, backflow testing and repair, outdoor lighting, and landscape installation throughout Northwest Arkansas.
Our crew includes state-certified backflow technicians, Certified Irrigation Contractors (CIC), drainage-certified specialists, and manufacturer-trained professionals. We prioritize continued education and stay current with Arkansas health codes, water regulations, and industry best practices to ensure every system we install or service is safe, efficient, and built to last.

Nick Khilling
Owner
Nick founded ABI Systems in 2007 after discovering his passion for working outdoors, solving problems, and building relationships with clients. What began as a vision to provide quality irrigation and outdoor solutions has grown into one of Northwest Arkansas’s most trusted names in the industry.
With nearly 20 years of experience, Nick brings extensive knowledge in irrigation systems, pump and well services, drainage solutions, and outdoor infrastructure. His hands-on expertise and commitment to doing things the right way have been foundational to ABI’s growth and strong reputation.
Nick is originally from the River Valley and moved to Northwest Arkansas for school — and never left. He and his wife of 16 years, Erica, have two growing boys, Cash and Jaxson.
Joshua Chelette
Operations Manager
Josh Chelette has been with ABI Systems since 2011, starting on the installation crew and steadily growing into his role as Operations Manager. Over the years, he has served as a Lead Installer, Service Technician, and Office Manager — giving him a deep understanding of both field operations and customer care.
With 14 years of experience in the irrigation and green industry, Josh is known for his ability to troubleshoot complex issues and deliver practical, effective solutions.

Andrew Tabor
Sales / Project Manager
Andrew joined ABI Systems in 2024, bringing with him a strong and diverse background in the green industry. With experience spanning tree care, irrigation systems, landscape installations, decks, fencing, and more, Andrew understands outdoor projects from the ground up.
With approximately 15 years of experience performing and managing green industry work, Andrew specializes in designing functional, beautiful outdoor spaces tailored to each client’s vision. His broad knowledge allows him to guide projects from concept through completion with confidence and attention to detail.
Andrew enjoys the creative side of outdoor design and helping homeowners transform their properties. Outside of work, he spends his time with his son, Wade — golfing, hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles together.
Alan “AJ” Jordan
Service Manager / Specialist
AJ has been with ABI Systems since 2012, starting as a service technician helper and quickly becoming an essential part of the team. Through years of hands-on experience, he has grown into his role as Service Manager and Lead Service Technician.
With extensive field experience, AJ excels in system diagnostics and complex troubleshooting. Known as the team’s “troubleshooting master,” he takes pride in finding solutions to issues that others can’t, ensuring customers receive reliable and long-lasting results.

Steve Khilling
Service / Backflow Specialist
Steve has been with ABI Systems since 2017, beginning as a service technician and steadily growing into his role overseeing the company’s backflow division. His leadership helps ensure that every system remains compliant, safe, and operating at peak performance.
Through continued education and state-level training, Steve has earned certifications in both backflow testing and repair. He plays a critical role in keeping ABI Systems aligned with current Arkansas state health and water codes, ensuring our clients’ systems meet all regulatory standards.

Ramon takes pride in his workmanship and strong job-site organization, ensuring each project runs smoothly from start to finish. His leadership and consistency help uphold the installation standards ABI Systems is known for.
Outside of work, Ramon enjoys playing in an indoor soccer league and is proud that his team has made it to the finals three years in a row.

Lukus joined ABI Systems in 2024 and has already proven himself to be a strong addition to the team. With a quick learning ability, personable demeanor, and strong initiative, he continues to grow his skills and take on new challenges in the field.
